Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Jamie Gallimore
Jamie Gallimore played three years of junior hockey in the WCHL with the Kamloops Chiefs where he was primarily known for his role as a defensive forward. He missed much of the second season with the Chiefs due to injury but returned strong for his third and final season.

Gallimore was selected in the fifth round, 97th overall in the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft by the Minnesota North Stars. In his first year as a pro most of Gallimore's year was divided between Fort Wayne of the IHL and Fort Worth of the CHL but he was called up to the North Stars for two games, which was the full extent of his NHL experience.

Gallimore continued to play hockey in the minors for another two years. After sitting out the 1980-81 season he tried to make a comeback with the Wichita Wind of the CHL but aborted the return after just three games.
