Damore. Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario on July 17th 1917 Hank Damore displayed a solid scoring touch playing Senior hockey and minor professional in the first five years of his career before a player shortage in the NHL as a result of World War II created an opportunity for Damore.

In 1943-44 Damore played four games for the New York Rangers and scored 1 goal. That same year in the Eastern Hockey League Damore lit it up scoring 40 goals and 85 points in 40 games. He was awarded the John Carlin Trophy as the league's top scorer and was named to First All Star Team. Damore played two more seasons in the EHL then moved on to the Pacific Coast Hockey League for his final two seasons. Damore retired following the 1948 season.
