Trail, British Columbia's Ed Cristofoli, born May 14th, 1967, spent four seasons with the University of Denver before beginning his professional career in 1989.
Cristofoli, a Montreal Canadiens draft pick in 1985, joined their American Hockey League farm club in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Cristofoli played 57 games for them in 1989-90 but also got a nine game trial with the big club.
Cristofoli, a right winger, scored one assist in his nine games with the Montreal Canadiens in what would end up being his only NHL stint.
After one more season of minor league hockey, split between the Fredericton Canadiens and the Kansas City Blades, Ed Cristofoli retired.
