Born in Brandon, Manitoba on November 18th, 1905 forward Jimmy Creighton had a few stops in minor pro, including two years with his hometown Brandon Wheat Kings, before he landed in Detroit where he made his NHL debut during the 1930-31 season.
Creighton played 11 games with the Detroit Falcons and scored one goal and had one minor penalty. Despite being traded by the Falcons to the New York Americans in December of 1931 Creighton never played in the NHL again.
