Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Claude Cardin
|
Cardin had a perfectly respectable junior career in Quebec, playing four years with the Sherbrooke Castors and appearing in two Allan Cup finals. However, his rights were owned by Montreal, a team deep in talent and in no need for Cardin's services. They sold him to St. Louis, but even the expansion Blues used him for only one game in their inaugural 1967-68 season. Afterwards, he played in a variety of minor pro leagues before retiring in 1971.
