Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Lyle Bradley
Lyle Bradley played his junior hockey with the Estevan Bruins of the SJHL for three years and was a key contributor to the championship team that advanced to the Memorial Cup in 1963. The Bruins turned in a strong effort, but came up short, with the Edmonton Oil Kings coming away as champions, led by the likes of future NHLers Glen Sather and Pat Quinn.

At 20, Bradley enrolled at the University of Denver where he played two years. In 1966-67, he turned pro as a member of the Des Moines Oak Leafs of the IHL. He played in 69 games, scoring 28 goals and 91 points. He followed that up with an 81-point campaign the following year in 72 games.

The next five years Bradley played primarily in the WHL with the Denver Spurs and the Salt Lake Golden Eagles. In 1973-74, Bradley was called up to play for the NHL's California Golden Seals, suiting up for four games, picking up one goal. His only other NHL action came three years later when he appeared in two games with the Cleveland Barons.

Bradley continued to play in Salt Lake, with the team competing in the CHL, before retiring after the 1977-78 season at the age of 34. In six NHL games, Bradley counted one goal.
