Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Normand Baron
Baron had played junior for just a few games with the Montreal Jr. Canadiens in 1976-77 and then quit hockey to focus on bodybuilding. But, in 1983, he tried to make a comeback of sorts, and the Canadiens signed him to a contract and put him in four games.

He played most of that season in Nova Scotia, racking up 275 penalty minutes, and all of the next year in the Montreal system as well. The Habs sold him to St. Louis and although he stuck around for 23 games and scored two goals, he again wound up in the minors and retired at year's end.
