Blair Barnes played one game for the Los Angeles Kings in 1983. The high-scoring junior, drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the sixth round in 1979, 126th overall, was traded to the Kings for Pat Mulvey June 22, 1982.
His best years had come in junior with Windsor, culminating with the 1979-80 season when he had 63 goals and 130 points. But, the Oilers kept him with the farm affiliate in Wichits and then traded him two years later. Barnes was called up for a single game and wound up in the AHL for most of the next two seasons, before retiring in 1984.
