Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Terry Ball
A diminutive defenceman with a hard, accurate shot from the point, Terry Ball was a power-play specialist who played seventeen years of top-flight hockey. He led the AHL in Calder Cup scoring in 1969 and spent most of the next season with the Philadelphia Flyers, his only full campaign in the NHL.

After a brief stay with the Buffalo Sabres in which he played a dozen games between 1970-72, he made the move to the WHA was an effective offensive defender in that league for six seasons. Ball finished his pro career in Finland, where he played for two years, before retiring in 1979.
