Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Rudy Ahlin
Although he was born in the same small city as future US Hall of Famer Frank Brimsek, Ahlin shares little else in common with any star from the NHL. In fact, in a hockey career that lasted a decade, Ahlin played just one NHL game, for Chicago, during the 1937-38 season.

He played most of 1931-35 with the Eveleth Rangers before signing with Kaansas City in the defunct AHA, and it was as a Greyhound he played most of his hockey, six years in all, before finishing his career with the Riverdale Skeeters in the EAHL in 1941-42.
