Trevor Sim, a third round draft pick of the Edmonton Oilers in 1988 spent four seasons with four different clubs in the Western Hockey League before making his NHL debut during the 1989-90 campaign.
Sim, who was born in Calgary, Alberta on June 9th 1970 played three games with the Oilers that year and managed an assist in that time. The rest of that campaign the right-winger spent completing his Junior career.
His three game trial ended up being the only time in the NHL for Trevor Sim, but he continued his career for many years. Sim had stops in the American Hockey League, the International Hockey League and the East Coast Hockey League, a short stay in the Italian league as well as two stints with the Canadian National Team.
After wearing ten different sweaters in nine seasons after turning professional, Trevor Sim retired from hockey in 1998-99.
