Right-winger Brandy Semchuk played one game for the LA Kings in 1992-93. He was a decent grinder and defensive player who enjoyed a fairly long career in the minors.
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Semchuk played a couple of years with the Canadian national team then joined the WHL's Lethbridge Hurricanes for the first months of the 1990-91 season. He was picked 28th overall by LA in 1990 and spent most of his first pro season battling injuries. Semchuk was eventually slotted for the IHL and ECHL for development but never received more than a one game trial. He later found a home with the CHL's San Antonio Iguanas before moving on to the West Coast hockey league.
