nceman Shaun Sabol played two games for the Philadelphia Flyers in 1989-90. He was a tough physical player who enjoyed most of his success in college and the minors.

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sabol played junior in the USHL with the St. Paul Vulcans and was chosen 209th overall by the Flyers in 1986. He then moved on to the University of Wisconsin for two years then spent five years as a pro player in the minors before retiring in 1992. In addition to his brief look at life in the NHL, he provided muscle and steady play in the AHL with the Hershey Bears and Binghamton Rangers.
