Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Greg Paslawski
Greg Paslawski was an offensive standout with the Prince Albert Raiders of the SJHL in 1980-81. At age 19, however, he was passed over in the NHL Entry Draft. Taking matters into his own hands, he signed as a free agent with the Montreal Canadiens who dispatched him to their AHL affiliate in Nova Scotia for two years of apprenticeship.

In 1983, the Canadiens gave him a 26-game trial before trading him, along with Doug Wickenheiser, to the Blues. In St. Louis, Paslawski found a home for five and a half seasons as a solid two-way player who managed to score a respectable number of points each year.

Starting in 1989, however, Paslawski's career took a turn for the mobile as he was bandied across the league, making stops in Winnipeg, Buffalo, Quebec, Philadelphia, and Calgary before he left the NHL for good in 1994.

Paslawski rounded out his career with the Peoria Rivermen of the IHL in 1996.
