Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Clayton Beddoes
Born in Bentley, Alberta on November 10, 1970, forward Clayton Beddoes began his hockey career with Lake Superior State where he played for four seasons. His best season of collegiate hockey was his last one, in 1994, when he was named to the CCHA Second All-Star Team as well as the NCAA Second All-Star team and the NCAA's Championship All-Tournament Team.

The Bruins, impressed by Beddoes breakout season, signed him as a free agent on June 2nd, 1994. He spent the 1994-95 season with the Bruins farm team in Providence but made the jump to the NHL the following year, splitting that season, and the next one, shuttling between Providence and Boston. He played in 60 games for the Bruins, scoring two goals and ten points.

In the summer of 1997, Beddoes signed with the Ottawa Senators, but he ended up spending that season with the Detroit Vipers of the International Hockey League. After his year in the IHL, Beddoes signed with the Berlin Capitals of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (German Elite Hockey League.) After three years and three teams in Germany, Beddoes decided to return to North America to sign with the Anchorage Aces of the West Coast Hockey League.
