Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Barrie Moore
Barrie Moore was selected in round nine of the NHL Entry Draft, 20th overall in 1993 by the Buffalo Sabres while playing with the Sudbury Wolves of the OHL. At 15, Moore played Junior B hockey with the Strathroy Rockets before heading north to play in Sudbury. He was there for four years and turned into a well-rounded player in his final two seasons, while scoring 85 and 89 points, respectively.

During his first year as a pro in 1995-96 Moore played three games with Buffalo and 64 with the Rochester Americans of the AHL. The next year he was called up as an injury replacement and suited up for 32 games, scoring two goals and eight points, which stands as his career totals although he has played a handful of games with the Edmonton Oilers and Washington Capitals.

Moore moved to the United Kingdom, playing for the Manchester Storm in 2000-01. In 2001-02 he was back in North America playing with the Portland Pirates of the AHL.
