Right-winger Jamie Linden played four games for the Florida Panthers in 1994-95. He was a tough grinder in the corners who could also tie up his man effectively. A tireless worker, his skill level was more suited to the minor leagues.
Born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, the younger brother of Trevor Linden played junior with the WHL's Portland Winter Hawks, Prince Albert Raiders, Spokane Chiefs and the hometown Tigers. In October, 1993 the young forward was signed as a free agent by the Florida Panthers as they prepared for their inaugural season.
Linden played four games for the expansion club in 1993-94 but was used chiefly on the Cincinnati Cyclones of the IHL. He continued to provided grit and leadership in the AHL and IHL though he never returned to the NHL.
