Peter Ambroziak was born September 15, 1971 in Kanata, Ontario. The fourth round, 72nd overall selection of the Buffalo Sabres in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, Ambroziak is a graduate of the OHL's Ottawa 67's.
After a four-year career in Ottawa, Ambroziak made his professional debut with the Sabres AHL affiliate in Rochester in 1991-92 and would spend the next four years with the Amerks before making his NHL debut in 1994-95.
The 1995-96 season brought the Kanata, Ontario native back to the AHL splitting his season between the Albany River Rats and the Cornwall Aces before having stints in both the IHL and UHL with one return trip back in the AHL with the Hershey Bears in 1997-98.
In 1999-00 Ambroziak joined the WPHL's New-Mexico Scorpions and has been employed by the team ever since, eventhough the team had joined the CHL in 2001-02.
