Gary Dineen

Gary Dineen was a top offensive talent in the early years of Father David Bauer's Canadian National Team. On a team that generally struggled to put the puck in the net, Dineen led the team with nine points (three goals and six assists) in seven games at the 1964 Innsbruck Olympics, and collected a team leading six goals and five assists in seven games at the 1965 World Championships. Unfortunately, Canada finished in fourth place at both tournaments. Dineen contributed a goal and four assists to Canada's bronze medal winner at the 1967 World Championships and was also a member of the bronze medal-winning team at the 1968 Grenoble Olympics.
