InternationalBorn in Niagara Falls, Ontario ... A veteran on the Italian National Team, Manno played at the 1992 Albertville Olympics and at seven World and European Championships (Pool A in 1982 and Pool B in 1983, 1986, 1987, 1989, 1990 and 1991) ... Named the Best Defenceman at the 1989 tournament ... Chosen to the All-Star Team in 1986, 1989 and 1991.

Career Has had the best NHL career of any of his teammates throughout his career in Italy ... He played defence with the Vancouver Canucks from 1976 through 1981, the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1981-82, went to Italy for a year (HC Merano and the National Team) and returned to play for the Detroit Red Wings at left wing from 1983 to 1985 ... Played in the NHL All-Star Game in 1982 ... Manno returned to Italy after the 1984-85 season ... His first year back, 1985-86, he scored 115 points on 29 goals and 86 assists in 42 games with HC Merano.
