Vyacheslav Bykov

Center Vyacheslav Bykov represented the Soviet Union and Russia at nine World Championships beginning in 1983. He scored five-or-more goals in four consecutive tournaments beginning in 1985. He is a double gold medal winner at the 1988 and 1992 Olympics and represented the Soviet Union at the 1987 Canada Cup. Along with Andrei Khomutov, he was one of the first players given permission to play professionally outside the Soviet Union and has great success playing for Fribourg in Switzerland.
