Alexei Zhamnov

Center Alexei Zhamnov recorded seven points for the Soviet National Junior Team at the 1990 World Junior CHampionships. he won a bronze medal at the 1991 World Championships and played for the Soviets in the 1991 Canada Cup. He won a gold medal with the Unified Team at the 1992 Albertville Olympics and a silver with Russia in Nagano in 1998. He also played in the World Cup of Hockey. Dynamo Moscow was his Soviet club team before he was drafted 77th overall by Winnipeg in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. He played four seasons with WInnipeg before being traded to Chicago and set an NHL personal best with 73 points in 1997-98. Star Player Photo
