Gary Gambucci

After starring at the University of Minnesota, Gary Gambucci joined the United States National Team for the 1968-69 season and spent three years with the club. He played at the World Championships in 1969, 1970 and 1971, helping the Americans win the B-Pool title in 1970. His 10 goals, 8 assists and 18 points all ranked second at the tournament that year as Gambucci earned a spot on the All-Star Team.

Gambucci entered the NHL with Minnesota in 1971-72, but spent most of his time in the minors over four seasons in the North Stars organization. He later played with the Minnesota Fighting Saints of the World Hockey Association and represented the United States internationally for a final time at the World Championships in 1976.
