The Winnipeg Falcons hockey club earned the right to represent Canada by virtue of their two wins over the University of Toronto to win the Allan Cup, a trophy symbolic of amateur supremacy in the country. They claimed the gold medal by winning each of their three games and outscoring the opposition 29-1. Frank Fredrickson led Canada with 12 goals and Wally Byron was near flawless in goal. The majority of the roster was composed of Icelandic-Canadians.
